MURPH HEADS ENTRY LIST Among 29 Named for 5,000 Added Hawthorne Juvenile Stakes to Be Run Saturday. CICERO, 111., June 1. Headed by Murph, winner of the Bashford Manor at Churchill Downs, twenty-nine horses were named for the ,000 added Hawthorne Juvenile Handicap to be run next Saturday. The distance for the event has been cut from six to five and one-half furlongs and it is expected one of the largest fields of the meeting will go to the post. Racing secretary Julius Reeder will announce weights for the event tomorrow. The heaviest nominator was the Milky Way Farms, which named four for the event, including the stake-winning Murph. The other three, Dogaway, Nations Taste and Reaping Reward, also are well regarded for the race. The Valdina Farm and the Calumet Farm each named three for the handicap. Fitter, Joseph Wideners filly which won her only start at Hawthorne, and the Tranquillity Farms Challite, likewise undefeated, are among the twenty-nine eligibles.
