BIG CROWD AT RIVERSIDE KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 4. Considering the off-day card, another surprisingly large crowd turned out for Thursdays racing at Riverside Park and were treated to some excellent racing. Ideal weather conditions prevailed for the sport, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by the fans. The first race, over the Futurity course, exclusively for three-year-olds, resulted in a driving finish when the first three horses came down so closely aligned that the result was in doubt until the official numbers were displayed. The winner turned up in R. J. Hustons Run-miltbn, which came from the rear in the last eighth mile to get up in the final strides.
