HOLLYWOOD APPRENTICE AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, April 2. The latest of the apprentice boys riding here at Agua Caliente to graduate from the maiden jockey ranks was Robert Coats, when he piloted Mrs. M. J., winner of the second race Friday to a nose finish. Apprentice Robert Coats comes from Hollywood, California. He is seventeen years of age and is under contract to C. E. Brown, Jr. This marks the first year that he has ridden and Agua Caliente is the first recognized race track that he has ridden on. From the way he rode his first winner Coats should go a long way as a saddle artist.
