TRUCE improved her position in the stretch under urging and raced well to the finish. GOLDIE J. showed a fair turn of speed. DONT FORGET could not keep up. NASEBY was well rated close to the pace in the first part, then moved forward fast when ready and, easily taking command, won as his rider pleased. ROYAL ROVER lacked early speed and was outrun to the last quarter, then came fast on. the outside. LUCK CHARM was in close quarters in the back stretch and dropped back, but came again in the stretch and raced well to. the finish. BATTLING GIRL swerved out a trifle at the start and was never dangerous. DONNA BONITA was used up racing into a contending position and quit badly. KELCONARD was done after going three-quarters. QUIBBET closed much ground in the last quarter, but mad his move too late. CRIMSON GLORY raced fairly well. PUDDIN showed good speed in pacemaking, but tired badly in the stretch.
