FOAM dashed to the front quickly and, showing fine speed, was never in danger and won easily. AUXILIARY was always closest to the winner and was hustled along, but was not good enough. ARIGOTAL saved ground most of the way and showed a fair effort. TORCH GLEAM raced fairly well. MAM LINDY acted badly at the post and started from outside the stall gate and broke well, but could not keep up. JOHNNY PAN was crowded back right after the start. The latter saved ground where possible and was pressing the winner at the finish, but pulled up slightly lame. BOSWORTH handled his weight well and closed some ground. ENOCH BORLAND showed a creditable effort. BONICON was in close quarters while racing on the inside. PRINCE HEATHER was taken up when in close quarters early and was never dangerous. CHIEF YEOMAN lacked early speed, but moved up strongly on the outside after going half the distance and, although losing ground on the outside on the turn, finished well. NAHILI, in close quarters after the start, dropped back to last place, then made up ground and finished in courageous fashion. HARVEY G. O. had speed and took a short lead neanng the stretch turn, but tired near the end. BALKAN LAND was done after some, three-quarters. MUMSIE also tired badly. PATTY CAKE showed good early speed, then dropped back in the back stretch, but came again in the stretch and was best of the others. TOROLEE set the pace under restraint, but tired when challenged in the stretch. DONNA LEONA loomed up dangerously when she saved ground on the stretch turn, then tired. OUR CAROLYNE was used up rushing up to the early leaders in the first half mile and tired. LADY FLORISE was in close quarters rounding the first turn and was never dangerous thereafter. SILVER KIEV made up some ground. MAMALAHOA made a strong move nearing the stretch, then tired. TWO EDGED and SILVER SICKLE tired. DONALD DUCK seemed sore after pulling up.
