TISTRUE lacked early speed and was in close quarters on the back stretch, but found an opening on the inside on the stretch turn to get to the front when straightened for home and won going away. GUARANTY opened up a good lead while setting the pace, but could not resist the winner and barely lasted to save second place. ROCHESTER BOY came gamely in the stretch to finish well. HARVEY G. O. was close up in tha early running and was permitted to drop back as if through, but came again in the stretch and finished well DODLOO lost ground by racing wide and was never dangerous. The latter came fast on the inside of SIR WAG near the end to gain a dead head. LUCKY CHARM was in close quarters on the inside until too late, but came to the outside in the stretch to finish well on her own courage. AKSALA raced evenly. BONYNGB tired badly in the stretch.
