YEARLING CONTEST AT KEENELAND WEDNESDAY LEXINGTON, Ky., April 16. Arrangements were completed for the 1938 yearling contest, which will be held next Wednesday at the Keeneland race course by the Thoroughbred Club of America. The committee in charge of the show announced sixteen colts, and fifteen fillies had been entered by thoroughbred breeders in Central Kentucky. Judging of the colts will be held Wednesday and the fillies will be judged Friday. Each showing will start promptly at 12 oclock noon in the Keeneland saddling paddock and continue until 1:30 oclock. Following the showing in the paddock, the yearlings will be paraded on the track to give each person ample opportunity to select what they believe will be the most money winners as two-year-bids next year.
