PLANS FOR MOUNTAIN RIDGE LEXINGTON, Ky., April 16. Robert Mc-Garvey, trainer for the Milky Way Farm, came over from Louisville to view the Keene-land sport Saturday afternoon and returned to Churchill Downs after the completion of the days races. However, before making his departure, McGarvey registered Mountain Ridge and Warbridge with the racing secretary and stated that the two horses would probably be vanned from Churchill Downs on Tuesday with the prospect of Mountain Ridge, a Kentucky Derby candidate, making his three-year-old debut at Keeneland in the Mereworth Purse. With the addition of Mountain Ridge along with Menow and Bull Lea likely starters, some of the foremost contenders for the Kentucky Derby will be seen in action at the local track. Hal Price Headley, owner of Menow, and Varren Wright, owner of Bull Lea, have virtually decided on sending their hopefuls postward on this occasion.
