CARROLLS LATEST PRICES IN DERBY BOOK i Several heavy commissions from California and Texas on the H. M. Woolf colt, Lawrin, for the Kentucky Derby knocked the price from 15 down to 10-4-2 in James J. Carrolls St. Louis book. The colt had been listed at 15-8-4. After slashing Lawrin, Carroll went up with Menow, now 15-8-4t and Nedayr now quoted at 15-8-4. Heavy commissions on Hal Price Headleys Bourbon King, 20 to 1, resulted in this colts price being reduced to 15-8-4. There has been a steady play on Bourbon King since he won the Chesapeake Stakes last Saturday. Carroll issued these prices Thursday: Horse. Price. Horse. Price.
