The -plater performed in the interests of his new owner in the sixth race Thursday. P. D. Lee Watts will act as trainer. Jockey J., Lynch packed his riding tack and departed for Suffolk Downs to report to the Fanfare Farms,, his new employers. Trainer George Tappen, who is racing a division of the Belair Stud and Wheatley Stable horses here, is confined to his quarters with a bad cold. Jockey J. OMalley has recovered from a brief illness to resume riding and was aboard Saparoo. in the fifth race Thursday. Jockey Earl Porter will accompany the horses of the Mrs. Emil Denemark staple to Suffolk Downs when they leave here Saturday. Entries for the first day of racing at Pim-ilico will be accepted at ;!Havre de Grace Saturday for the convenience of horsemen un-I able to reach the grounds of the Maryland Jockey Club. An attache of the racing sec-j retarys office will also be at Timonium for the same reason. Apprentice riders D. Driscoll and M.
