CHARLOTTE GIRL IN SENSATIONAL TRIAL GALLOP HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 28. El-wood Sachsenmaiers unbeaten filly Charlotte Girl, winner of the Aberdeen Stakes, in her last appearance under colors, turned in a sensational workout today in preparation for the ,500 added The Masquerader and the ,000 added Pimlico Nursery, both to be run at the grounds of the Maryland Jockey Club, when she worked four and a half furlongs in the phenomenal time of :5ZVs. The undefeated Cohort whirlwind, breaking at the four and a half furlongs marker, was timed in :22 for the first quarter, :34 for the three-eighths and :47 for the half mile and just missed equalling the track record here of :53, held jointly by Mother Goose, Single Foot, Fiddlesticks, Rock Man, Vander Pool and Bonanza.
