SIS LOTTIE, hustled along from the start, established a good lead after overhauling MY DAY, but tired fast near the end. MY DAY, rushed to the front, gave way when challenged, but held on well. MISS WISE, in close quarters early, improved her position steadily when clear, responded to good urging when wearing down MONEY GETTER and won with something left. MONEY GETTER, forced wide when racing forwardly, forged to the front shortly after reaching the stretch, but was unable to withstand the winner. BARBARA J. began slowly and, outrun for a half mile, moved around the field at the stretch turn arid closed with a rush. TWINKLE FEET, rushed to the front, was unable to draw clear and tired in the drive. DON ROMIRO was in close quarters. RED GARTER and DOWN IN FRONT were shuffled back at the far turn. FROZEN MASK, well handled and steadied along early, moved up fast when called upon, took command when ready and won easily. ODDESA DON, in close quarters soon after the start, was forced wide when improving his position and, taken through the field for the drive, finished strongly. BESS B., outrun early, came fast after going three-eighths and made up ground in the drive. COURTAVVAY sprinted into a good lead early, but gave way when challenged and tired rapidly in the final eighth. IMPERIAL JEAN showed a good effort after losing ground throughout. WOODSIA was outrun. FYLFOT was never a factor. GREENUP TIME was through after going a half mile. FAIR ROCK, hustled along from the start, bore over on DICK ULMER when establishing a clear lead, increased her margin in the stretch and won easily. MOUSIE, fractious but away fast, responded well while saving ground and finished well. ED, slow to reach his stride, raced wide at the stretch turn and came fast when straightened. HIGH TOP showed an even effort. DICK ULMER, knocked off stride by the winner, tired thereafter. MYRICA made up ground in the drive. The latter, steadied along for three-eighths, wore down WINDSHIELD shortly after reaching the final eighth, but Was unable to withstand the winner. KERMAY, outrun for a half mile and lucky to find racing room through the field, closed with a rush. WINDSHIELD, reserved when outrun, took command entering the stretch, but tired rapidly after relinquishing the lead. ADOLF saved ground throughout and had no mishaps. BULL LEA began fastest of all, was steadied along when outrun, responded in fine style when called upon nearing the final three-eighths, moved up on the outside of MENOW approaching the final quarter and steadily wore him down to be drawing away at the end. MENOW, on his best behavior and away well, was hustled to the front before reaching the lower turn, increased his margin under steadying restraint, went along in handy fashion until challenged, but after responding to good urging in the drive, failed to last. MISS LAMPLEY raced wide. STORM WARNING was through after going three-quarters.
