AFTER THIRD STRAIGHT Arabs Arrow Seeks Another Win in ,000 Kentucky Handicap. One of Nine Named for Saturdays Churchill Feature — Eagle Pass Is Top Weight With 124 Pounds. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 20.— Arabs Arrow, which performs under the colors of Louise J. Hickman, of Louisville, will be out for his third straight stakes victory in the Kentucky Handicap, ,000 added feature of Saturdays program here at Churchill Downs. The son of The Porter is one of nine which were named for the twentieth running of the fixture, which will be decided over a mile and a furlong and probably on a track other than fast. Arabs Arrow is to oppose a smart band of handicap performers and a race as interesting as any staged here this meeting is in prospect. Among the top-notchers listed among the entries are E. F. Woodwards Eagle Pass, Ramsey and Coppages Mucho Gusto. Mrs. E. Bartletts Zevson, Mrs. Ethel V. Mars Mars Shield, and the three-year-old Knee Deep, owned by James W. Parrish. Mose Goldblatts Dnieper, W. M. Ingrams Broadway and the F. L. B. Stables The Queen round out the field. WEIGHT ASSIGNMENTS. Under the weight assignments Eagle Pass must shoulder top impost of 124 pounds to 117 for Mucho Gusto. 116 for Arabs Arrow and 114 for Zevson. Arabs Arrow began his Churchill Downs campaign by meeting defeat in the Clark Handicap, but came back strongly to take both the Louisville and the Churchill Downs Handicap, the former at a mile and a sixteenth, and the latter at seven furlongs. He has been holding his good form and will rule one of the choices for tomorrows engagement. Rain today precluded any chance of a fast track for the running of tomorrows stake, but if the racing strip has any chance to dry it may be no worse than slow. The Kentucky Handicap is surrounded by a well-balanced card of supporting contests, including the Tyler Hotel Handicap, a dash at six furlongs for three-year-olds and upward. Those named for this event were Bacon, Little Nymph, Sorties Son, Lassator, Candescent and Texas Rose. The field for the Kentucky Handicap follows: P.P Horse. Wt. Rider. 1— The Queen 102 G. South 2— Arabs Arrow 116 W. L. Johnson 3— Zevson 114 4— Dnieper 107 P. Roberts 5— Broadway 108 6— Mars Shield Ill A. Robertson 7— Knee Deep 102 W. Cornay 8— Eagle Pass 124 E. Steffen 9— Mucho Gusto 117 W. Garner
