TERMISON, hustled into a commanding lead quickly, set" a good pace throughout, swerved and bore out when tiring in the last sixteenth, but was never in danger. CHICKEN LADY, awav slowly and far back for three-eighths, improved her position steadily thereafter and closed gamely. PETER F followed in closest pursuit of the leader for most of the trip, faltering near the end. MARY SENATE was hard hustled throughout, but was unable to keep up. KERRYLITE had no mishaps. JACKKNTFE, rated off the pace to the stretch, responded eamely to urging while coming between horses, assumed the lead a sixteenth out and outfinished WENDOVER. The latter, probably bes~t, worked her way up on the outside, lost considerable ground at the stretch turn and finished strong. ROYAL PURCHASE dropped back soon after the start, came through on the inside and closed well = WHIP SNAKE finished fast under vigorous handlins. JERRY FLIRT improved his position during the last three-sixteenths OH RA quit badly in the last eighth. PRINCESS STONE, racing in the deepest going throughout, quit under extreme pressure. STAR FLASH, away with the leaders, was forced back after going three-eighths, recovered quicklv and taken to the outside, wore coun WILLOW WAND and drew clear. The latter, hustled into the lead soon after the break, drew out after a quarter, but gave way when challenged. ORMONT GIRL was blocked approaching the stretch turn and was taken around horses thereafter and finished strongly SUN IMAGE prominent for most of the trip, tired in the late stages. POISON CUP closed a good~ gap after a slow beginning. SCOBINA, badly outrun to the stretch, finished with a rush. RAPID BELLS had brief early speed. TERMOTIME began swiftly, set the pace until well into the stretch, but was no match for the winner. TEPERWINE worked his way up rapidly on the outside and held on with good courage. MASTER MORT. alwavs prominent, faltered w.fnt1"0"10 prpssure in the stretch. BROWN BEN closed gamely. OH FUDGE could not keep up. LAI REL S RUBY broke slowly and closed a good gap.
