1 NARRAGANSETT PARK NOTES ! fc ; Paul Kelley announced this morning that he would not campaign this winter. The entire Kelley string of ten horses is for sale, as is the contract of apprentice rider J. Ash-croft. In announcing his decision to dispose of his stable, Mr. Kelley said that winter racing does not appeal to him, but that he might return to the sport in the spring. Trainer W. H. Hosea will sever connections with the stable of Sheldon Fairbanks at the close of racing here Saturday. Mr. Fairbanks will train his own horses this winter. D. McDermid, trainer for Fanfare Farms, will ship seventeen head to Hialeah Thursday. Thatch, the eight-year-old gelding owned by F. Coppa, which broke down in the running of the seventh race Tuesday was destroyed. M. C. Keefe has purchased the contract of apprentice Albert Woolf from Don Cameron. Jockey J. W. Bailey has packed his tack and left for California, where he will report to E. E. Fogelson, who will campaign his string on the West Coast this winter.
