Badame; bred by Mr. M. Vehon. Winner entered to be claimed for ,250. WENT TO POST 4:22. AT POST 2 minutes. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. IVORY TIP was slow to begin and trailed his field into the back stretch, worked his way up steadily and, responding gamely to vigorous urging, was along in the last twenty yards. BERTILLON was far back early, improved his position gradually during the last half mile and finished in determined fashion through the stretch. MATCH POINT outbroke his company, was under slight restraint while following along in nearest pursuit of the pacemaker, gained a slight lead over MANY MOONS, began tiring and, despite holding on gamely, was not quite good enough. REBEL YELL moved up on the inside and, responding willingly, was unable to reach the leaders. MANY MOONS raced to the front going to the first turn and was unable to shake off MATCH POINT, faltering during the last three-sixteenths. SHARP GIRL was unable keep up. fia77fSratchJd7v86, 111 ; 68477 Play. 108; 68779 Bred in Blue, 116; bono Lamb s Wool, 113; 68783 West Sea, 105. Overweight Pick Out, 1 pound.
