Morris Stradivi-ous will be refused for the remainder of the Shreveport meeting because the horse was not brought to the paddock in time to fill his engagement in the third race Tuesday. Jockey J. Juarez was suspended fifteen days by the Shreveport stewards for rough riding astride Ethyln in the third race here Tuesday afternoon. Jockey Al Gaither reported ill to the clerk of the scales and cancelled his mounts Wednesday. Charles F. Henry, presiding steward, will depart for Santa Barbara at the close of the current meeting. S. F. Murphy has made plans to depart for New Orleans, where he will make the mounts for L. Whiting,
