WHISCENDA, well up from the start, had no excuses and could not overtake the winner, although hard urged in the stretch. POLVOS PRINCE dropped back slightly after going half the distance, but saved ground and was best of the others. PAPER SUN lacked early speed, but made up some ground. BOULEVARD could not keep up. TIME FLIGHT raced to the front early and, favored by much weight off, showed more gamcness than usual in the final drive to hold INDIANTOWN. The latter was always a strong contender and raced gamely to the finish. TOWNSMAN was forced to take back while racing on the inside of BROWN JADE and,, after stumbling, was taken to the middle of the track and timidly handled, but finished gamely on his own. courage. ROUTINE got through an opening in the stretch to finish fairly well. BROWN JADE was unable to get to the front and tired in the stretch. HIGH VOTE could not keep up. The others were outclassed. BELS BEAU raced to the front at once to open up a narrow lead while racing under slight restraint, then drew out when given his head after entering the last quarter and had enough left to hold ENIMRAC at the end. ENIMRAC dropped back after being in close quarters on the far turn, but came again in the stretch to finish well. REDNECK leaped into the air at the start and was off poorly, but soon reached a prominent position to finish well to the end. BLUE HOUR made several moves and was going gamely at the finish. DIGNIFIED tired in the stretch. NEVERNEVER had no excuses and tired in the run home. SIR MAXIM dropped cut of it when the real racing began. Overweight: Bels Beau, 1 pound. EIGHTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES. DANFIELD swerved soon after the start and was off poorly, but came strongly in the middle of the track through the stretch to catch TENACE under urging near the end and won narrowly. TENACE was under restraint to the last half mile, came very fast to take command and, going gamely to the finish, barely missed. BAR PLAY was used up in the early running and tired. THISTLE GRACE was well up most of the way. ABDICATOR was in rather close quarters while racing on the inside. BERNHARDT K. quit in the stretch. Overweight Thistle Grace, 1 pound.
