NEW ORLEANS BIG WEEK NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 22. Sports lovers from every section of the United States will be gathering in New Orleans next week for a week of sporting events that promise to eclipse anything attempted in history in this section and the racing at the Fair Grounds looms up with many attractions. The annual mid-winter Carnival of Sports, which has displayed a tremendous gain in patronage since its inception a few years ago, has many varied programs to be offered and Sugar Bowl Day at the Fair Grounds has been set as Saturday, December 31.
