BROADCAST YANKS GAMES NEW YORK, N. T., Dec. 22. Every home game of the New York Yankees, worlds Champion baseball team, will be broadcast next season, Col. Jake Ruppert, owner of the club, announced yesterday. The sponsor of ; the broadcasts and the chain over which the j broadcasts will be made have not yet been j decided. "I have always been opposed to i broadcasting games," said the colonel. "Ij dont know whether it will help or hurt at-i tendance, but I am not considering the financial angle for a moment. I dont care whether we make a single cent. But I do j care that the men and women, who, through J Illness or accident, are confined indoors, shall have some happiness brought to them j by the radio. During my confinement indoors I found great pleasure in listening to ,the radio. It was fun for me to follow the games. I decided if I could get so much joy out of it others could, too. Thats why I have decided to let the Yankee games go on the ail-."
