RECOVERYS STEADY PROGRESS WASHINGTON, D. C, Dec. 22 Further indication of the steady progress of the recovery movement was furnished by Secre-taxy of Labor Perkins today in a disclosure that employment in industry continued to rise in November. Approximately 30,000 workers were re-employed last month, exclusive of those taken on by WPA and other government relief projects. Miss Perkins estimated that since last June about 1,000,-000 persons have returned to work. Miss Perkins said that fifty-six of the eighty-seven manufacturing industries surveyed by the bureau reported employment gains between October and Novenroer and forty-three reported larger payrolls
