FORBID HITLER BROADCAST BERLIN, Germany, April 1. Sudden and unexplained orders from the German government forbidding broadcast of Reichsfueh-rer Adolf Hitlers speech today long delayed world-wide distribution of his talk at Wil-helmshaven. Arrangements were made for re-broadcasting of his speech by short wave to the United States, but these were cancelled half a minute after he began. Individual attempts were made to pick up the speech by private short wave receivers, but these were fruitless. No explanation was given for the sudden stoppage., At the beginning of his speech, Hitlers voice was heard clearly and distinctly. Suddenly an announcer took over from the short wave relay station and stated that there had been an interruption. No explanation was given. The projected broadcast was on a short wave from Zeeson. Late this afternoon, while the Fuehrer was speaking, all German radio stations were broadcasting music.
