SUN FIGHTER, going in best form and outrun early, moved up fast after five-eighths, forged to the front approaching the final eighth and was unable to draw clear, but withstood SKI. The latter, in close quarters for a half mile, came to the inside for the drive and was fast wearing down the winner. PAL O SWEEP, racing forwardly, swung extremely wide on the stretch turn, but, coming fast when straightened, finished strongly. BIT .0 BLACK rushed to the front, established a big lead and tired in the drive. HAR-JO came from well back. GALECO quit. MADCAP YANKEE lost ground for seven-eighths, then tired. BELLE ELAN, hustled to the front, opened up a good lead rapidly, was steadied along for five-eighths and responded to strong urging, increased her advantage and won easily. THISTLE RED, shuffled back on the lower turn, came fast when ready and closed with a rush. SOMEONE ELSE, a strong factor from the start, tired. TEAROUT came from well back. BEL ESPOIR ran on the inside in the drive. AMERICAN EMBLEM had no mishaps. FANDAN was outrun. DOUG BRASIIEAR began slowly and showed nothing. MUSCLE IN quit. BON HAMBURG and CATCHEM were outrun.
