IDA TARP, away well but unable to keep up, improved her position steadily and came to the extreme outside in the stretch, then responding to strong urging, wore down BILL DONOGHUE in the last strides. The latter, forced wide from the .start, subdued GLAdXandGLAD inside the final eighth but was unable to" , hold the winner though staying well. GLADYS GLAD, hustled to "the front, gave way approaching the stretch Dut came again in the drive and tired near the end. WITAN saved ground to reach the ltfadnearing the final eighth, but tired. BUNTINGON showed an even effort. CHUBBINS showed little under weak handling. TTO made up ground. RICKEY ROO and OGEE were outrun. MY CREST, unable to improve his early position, moved up 1-apidly in the drive and forged to the front in the final eighth but failed to last. LADY ALBERT G., never far back, was taken in hand when in close quarters approaching the stretch, lost ground at the turn and came fast when straightened. FLOAT AWAY, used up in the pace, tired under pressure. HADNOGAL raced on the inside in the stretch. BARGAIN HUNTER, rushed to the front, gave way after going a quarter, then came again in the stretch to establish a good lead, but quit. ELABORATE was outrun. SISTER REIGH quit. ESCALATOR came over sharply at the start and quit. COURTESY FIRST was outrun. RED MOSS fell while in close quarters shortly after the start. Overweight Red Moss, 1 pound. MONON LAD, well up from the start, was slightly impeded when the winner came over, then came again in the last stages. LARRY S. closed with a rush on the outside. ANNA GRAND finished strongly. ALEXANDRINE had a rough trip. TRANSVIEW, hustled along from the start, attained a clear lead after subduing FAST MOVE and was "knocked back when the winner came over. CHIEF MENTEUR quit.
