HEAR "PURGED" JOCKEYS SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 1. Five jockeys who were "purged" by the California Horse Racing Board previous to the opening of the Santa Anita meetfng, were given hearings by Edwin J. Brown, board representative at Tanforan, Saturday morning. The boys, permitted to state their side of the case were N. Richardson, J. Boucher, J. Martin, O. Webster and H. Elston. Clyde Turk and O. Laidley have been notified that they tvHI be given hearings in the near future.
