The latter, away in front, dropped back when taken in hand, then came with a rush on the outside and finished fast, but could not stave off the winner. WILD OAK raced evenly throughout but was knocked back in the stretch and finished strongly. BOURBON PRINCE raced evenly throughout. The others were outrun.
