CONLEYS SUSPENSION STANDS HOT SPRINGS, Ark., April 1. William Hamilton, presiding steward stated today that an error was made in the announcement that R. Conleys suspension was lifted to permit him to ride Hope Diamond in the Arkansas Derby today. Conley was fined 00 and suspended for the balance of the meeting for striking Wise Barrister across the nose in the feature race of March 22. R. Conley appeared on tho overnight entry as the rider of Hope Diamond and when so informed, steward Hamilton ordered another rider to be substituted. Charley Landolt handled the daughter of Apprehension today.
