The latter, close up from the start, took a short lead in the stretch but tired near the end. HIGH ACE was forced to race wide but had speed and closed fairly well. SUSPEND SION made up ground on the outside. PRINCE HEATHER tired in the stretch. TONTA dropped back on the far turn. SPORTING GREEN raced evenly. SCHOOLMOM lacked the early speed necessary to keep up with the leaders but came fast through the stretch to get to the front a sixteenth out and won going away. HAPPY DINAH had the most early speed and opened up a good lead while setting the pace, but tired near the finish. CHIEF PILOT was close enough - in -the early running but tired. BON CENTIME could not keep up and was never dangerous. UALLNO raced dismally. MERRY BREEZES had some early speed. Scratched 68919 Frisco Boy, 108. Pritchard; bred by Mr. W. B. Miller-. WENT TO POST 3:17. AT POST 3 minutes. Start good and slow for all but Cue Ball. Won driving; second and third the same. HARVEY G. O., saved close up for three-quarters, raced through an opening on the inside of ENGLISH HARRY after leaving the back stretch and, hugging the rail to save ground in the run home, headed BON FLY nearing the end and held her safe in a drive. BON FLY was permitted to drop too far back of the leaders in the early part and raced wide while making her move, but got to the front an eighth out and continued well after being headed by the winner. BON AMOUR was also allowed to drop too far back in the early part and closed with a belated rush. BROAD WINK made a strong move on the far turn but was forced wide by ENGLISH HARRY and tired in the stretch run. ROYAL REIGH and ENGLISH HARRY were used up setting the pace and tired. DON GUZMAN, close to the pace from the start, came strongly on the outside after Ieawng the back stretch and, getting to the front in the run home, went .gamely to the end to win handily. GOLD TROPHY raced through an opening early to force a good pace and, saving ground in the stretch went gamely to the nd. DELINE BANK, forced to race wide early, found an opening in the stretch and closed fast. FLYSTAR had good early speed and held on well but was in close quarters in the final strides. GROG was close enough early but was in close quarters entering the stretch and tired. STAND IN pulled up lame. Overweight Leightonwood, 3 pounds.
