YOUNG HORSES IN OREGON OREGONGRANTS GRANTS PASS Ore June 14 Al ¬ though several of the mares owned by Mrs Lonnie Copenhaver owner of Rio Vista Stock Farm near Grants Pass are at Howard Dots Mt Shasta Farm in Cal ¬ ifornia there is no dearth of young thor ¬ oughbreds at the formers Jackson Coun ¬ ty ranch The several mares at Mt Shasta have foals at side and have been bred to Pasha which stands at the Oots ranch Among the younger horses at the Copenhaver nursery are sucklings by Quibbler Paper Sun and Muckraker Santa Anita and Bubsie S have foals by Quibbler while Mariolet and Bread and Butter are nursing offspring by Paper Sun and Muckrakers representatives were foaled by Ceylon Omadale and Harcum Two of four yearlings at the place were sired by Snow King while Quibbler and Sailor Boy begat the others
