STEWART BUILDING NURSERY AT ROMNEY ROYAL FARM FARMELKTON ELKTON Md June 14 James V Stewart is establishing a top class nursery at his Romney Royal Farm here and his wife the fcrmer Caroline Reynolds is aiding material ¬ ly Mrs Stewart was a show horse rider and h r sister Mrs Phil Goodwin continues to gallop thoroughbreds She exercised Andy K and Bay View the latter winner of the 100 000 HandicapBrood Santa Anita Handicap Brood mares at Romney Royal are Mad Eagle Singing Heart Sallandry and Ken vara Mad Eagle was bred to Quatre Bras H Singing Heart to Chrysler II Kenvare to Wise Counsellor and Sallandry to Strol ¬ ling Player Kenvara recently returned from Kentucky where she visited Wise Counsel ¬ lors court courtThere There is only one yearling at Stewart farm and he is a chestnut son of Wise Counsellor SallandryIn Sallandry In addition to operating a nursery and winter training quarters Stewart races a large stable of horses There are 406 acres at Romney Royal and a fourteenstall train ¬ ing barn There is no stallion but Stewart hopes to acquire one Brandon Prince a winner for Dan J Sullivan as well as other owners is pensioned by Sullivan at Rom ¬ ney Royal RoyalIn In the training stable not at Delaware Park there are some twoyearolds and seven older performers Ksar of Audley the prop ¬ erty of H C McGehee who also owns seven other horses is the star He was recently placed in training
