TEXAS TURF NOTES DALLAS Texas June 14 14Col Col George B McCamey master of Bed ¬ ford Stock Farm recently made a trip to Fairmount Park where he has a pretentious stable campaigning under the direction of J W McEwen McEwenFred Fred Browning Top O The Hill Stock Farm was host to several big time golfers playing in Fort Worth for the National Open title They visited Brownings stock farm and several were pictured with some of the yearlings and 1941 foals Watt Reynolds also conveyed a group of his golfing friends to the Reynolds Brothers Stock Farm close to the Colonial Country Club where the tournament playedWhen was played When Black Bud A R Eppenauers Kil kerry Madame Sans Gene gelding broke his maiden recently at Hollywood Park Bud Burmester for whom the big thoroughbred was named by sheriff Tom Wade his breed ¬ er was a happy man For a long time Bur ¬ mester thought the name would jinx the big Kilkerry colt but he finally came through Col George McCamey also named a colt for Burmester Bud B being the one When it was ascertained that Bud B was by Leon ¬ ard B out of Lady Bud Burmester felt he had to share the honor with the colts sire and dam
