LARGER STABLE FOR KING KINGMEMPHIS MEMPHIS Tenn June 14 Under a pro ¬ gram of increased horse production insti ¬ tuted last year at his farm in Shelby County C LeRoy King will in coming seasons oper ¬ ate a much larger racing stable The owner of the sires PariMutuel and Double Heart has increased the number of brood mares at his picturesque King Farm and more than a score of the matrons mated with those stallions during the season just closing are owned by the Memphis thoroughbred en ¬ thusiast At present there arc three year ¬ lings and ten sucklings at the farm the number of this years foals revealing a sub ¬ stantial first step in increased production over a season ago The Memphis patrons racing stable trained by Gilbert Hardy is operating on the Chicago circuit It is com ¬ posed chiefly of thoroughbreds bred and raised by their owner
