MIKEL REPORTS ON STOCK STOCKWHEELING WHEELING W Va June 14 J D Mikel owner of a large breeding farm in Illinois who is racing his horses at Wheeling Downs reports that his new crop of wean ¬ lings and yearlings are robust They are pastured at his Illinois farm The weanlings are sons and daughters of Braedalbane which has sent many winners on the American turf and he has high hopes that they will uphold the reputation of their sire The Mikel stable here is made up of eight horses Three are daughters of the sprinter which won handi ¬ caps and stakes during his career on the turf The Mikel farm near Hinsdale 111 has been improved considerably inthe past few years Several marcs will be added to the group of matrons there before the next breeding season rolls around
