BROOKES WEST VIRGINIA FARM FARMCHARLES CHARLES TOWN W Va June 14 Not far from the facilities of the Charles Town race track Frank Brooke operates a modest breeding farm of about 150 acres Although the Jefferson County establishment does not have a stallion the mares kept by Brooke are within a seclion where twentyfive studs stand This years foal crop at the nursery consisted of a colt by Bull Moose Bunga ¬ low The latter matron one of the home mares is a daughter of the Fair Play stal ¬ lion Claptrap out of Shanty by Hourless Bungalow will again visit Bull Moose local sire owned by the master of Rose Hill Farm H B Langdon Also at Brookes farm are two yearlings They are by Sun Meadow Flower of Erin by Durbar II and by Slave Ship Bungalow
