GROFF TO IMPROVE FARM FARMINLAY INLAY CITY Mich June 14 The 160 acre farm purchased recently by Rodney C Groff is to be used for the care raising and training of thoroughbreds On the tract near Inlay City arc some improvements but Groff plans many changes and will add a small training track paddock and a many purpose barn While the owner has not de ¬ cided when nor on what scale he will breed thoroughbreds it may be assumed that in time to ctTmc his handicap colorbcarer For ¬ ever Prince will stand at the head of a modest stud at the Inlay City place Com partively short distances from all the mid western racing points the Groff farm is geographically ideal as a training headquar ¬ ters and the owner plans to take full advantage of this feature and use it as a base for racing operations at accessible tracks
