ALJ3RTER dropped hack when in close quarters, worked his way forward steadily, responded to strong handling. after reaching contention and wore OCCUPY down at the end. The latter was rushed forward on the outside to establish a clear lead swiftly, held a fine advantage to the final furlong and tired rapidly in the last stages. BLACK SWAN came to the outside in the drive and closed with a rush. BROADCLOTH, never far back, held on well. HASTY MESSAGE showed a good effort. OGHAM, slow to beein. was hustled forward on the outside and tired after entering the last eighth. MEGOGO was outrun. AMERICAN FLYER was unable to keep up. ALBlLDO showed speed. MARCHON. slow to begin, raced forward through the field, came fast in the drive and wore down GEORGIE DRUM in the final stride. GEORGIE DRUM, steadied early, improved his position when ready, subdued TOTAL VICTORY when in«ide the final eighth and was unable to hold the winner. BOLO WAY held a prominent position from the start, was squeezed back at the turn, came again when clear and held on well. TOTAL VICTORY was rushed into a clear lead, held a good advantage to the stretch and tired. CREST lost ground after three-eighths and held on well. CABIN CREEK was unable to keep up. BESCAR passed tiring horses in the drive. NOD dropped back after five sixteenths. Scratched — 42S21 Romulus, 112: Meandyou. 106.
