SEA FOAM outran her field to the first turn, drew into a dear lead and, rated alone under slight restraint, continued gamely when challenged, although not quite g od enough. IDA ROGERS, slow to beein, moved up steadily in the last sixteenth and finished with good energy. MIGHTILY went forwardly all the way. NOODLES closed some ground. SUNAMIT was taken up immediately after the start came and, far hack, wa« rushed into contention, but had little left for the closing test, although outlasting VALDINA VALONA. FIREBROOM, steadied along In closest pursuit of the pace established by SHADOWS PASS, wore down the latter in the stretch to draw cut under brisk urging. MOKABLUE. outrun until the last three-eighths, finished willingly and was along in the concluding strides to wear down SHADOWS PASS and just lasted to hold HORNBLENDE. The latter came with a rush on the outride through the stretch. SHADOWS PASS showed speed and only tired inside the last eighth, falling short by a stride or so of lasting for the place. The latter, outrun early, moved up graduallv on the outside and finished with good energy. VALDINA PLEDGE moved up nearing the far turn, took command, drew clear and. while fighting it out gamely, was not quite good enough. OPTIMISM had early speed, but tired. BRIGHT QUEST was rushed to the front and, kept under pressure, dropped back after going a halt. REIGH STAR bore in at the start and was unable to keep up. EIGHTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES.
