Frances W. Earns Diploma With Easy Fairmount Win COLLINSVTLLE, 111., June 25.— Frances W,. a brown daughter of Display and Full Tide, who has been knocking at the door in most of her races since she made her debut at Oaklawn Park last spring, finally found a field she could conquer at Fair-mount today and easily left the ranks of non-winners, when she won the fourth race by eight lengths over Mrs. A. M. Creechs Ever Message, Phil T. Chirms Patrol Pilot and nine other maidens at five furlongs. The H. A. and E. Wheatley representative was handled by Willie Cassity and, breaking with the leaders, he had the daughter of Display hitting her best stride soon after the start while racing with James C. Ellis Olga S. When ready, Cassity drew away from Olga S. on the far turn, opened a commanding lead midway the stretch and when Olga S. dropped back, came away to win with ridiculous ease. There was a spirited battle for the place with Ever Message outfinishing the Chinn horse to get the award by half a length. Patrol Pilot was a safe distance before Texas Sandman, while Olga S., who quit badly, followed.
