KIEV GAF1 NEY dropped back after the start, came between horses for the drive and passed tired horses near the end. GARDEN POOL tired. MOVNTKALA gave a eood peifonnance. ROYAL MINUET quit. The latter had the most speed, was under steady restraint, saved all possible ground and just failed to last. PAIRLET, never far back, closed fastest of all and was getting to the leaders. MY SUNSHINE, well placed and in tight quarters, was bumped repeatedly by HIT IT in the stretch, then tired. HIT IT was racing strongly when lie bore in entering the stretch and was eased when beaten. TETRASHERA dropped bark after the first eighth, came to the outside for the drive and finished with a cyclonic rush. JOE BURMAN. permitted to settle into his best stride, finished with fine courage. BRASTOWN tired after forcing the pace. 4AHOKIAN. in tight quarters and unable to get through while racing next to the rail, came around the leaders for the drive and was also going gamely in the late staees.
