McCammish Pleads Not Guilty To Charges in Detroit Fire DETROIT, Mich., June 28. Leroy "Peg-leg" McCammish was yesterday placed under 0,000 bonds and remanded to custody here for alleged implication in the fire at the Fair Grounds, which caused the death of one man, brought about the destruction of 31 horses and was responsible for damages in excess of 00,000. Upon arraignment, McCammish pleaded not guilty of charges of arson and murder. He is a known arsonist, having served sentences for such a crime. A 30-year-old. track "hanger-on", McCammish has been employed at times as a groom. An acquaintance of his, Alexander Bori, is also being held. The latter was at the scene of the conflagration and was in- jured at the time, receiving burns responsible for confinement to a local hospital.
