Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. FAMOUS LADY worked her way up steadily to the stretch, came to the outside for the drive and, responding to punishment, disposed of the leaders and won going away. BOMB BERLIN, never far back, came between horses entering the stretch and finished well, but was unable .to withstand the winner. CAVALLENA, a keen factor throughout, took command when set down for the drive, but failed to stay under good handling. BROADWAY JIM, between horses during the stretch run, finished well under urging. BARK came to the inside for the drive, but could not reach the leaders. CARBON BLACK closed fast after being outrun to the stretch. PENOMP had no excuse. DEAR BRIDGET tired after a half. NATS REWARD gave way after making the pace to the stretch. TWO BLOCK, a sharp factor during the first half, bled and was not persevered with during th stretch run. Scratched Wine Cup, 109. SINGLE UP, forwardly placed from the start, swerved to the inside during the drive and could not reach the winner. DOUGS GAL, slow to reach her best stride, worked her way up and finished strongly in a good effort. SCARLET PANSY, fractious at the post, raced evenly during the running. LINDA DARLING had a rough trip. DIFFICULT had early speed, bore out badly near the stretch and lost all chance. SHASTA KO went to the front early, made the pace for three-eighths, then gave way. WEAPONS PRIDE, in hand until reaching the final quarter, came determinedly when set down for the drive and just missed. HIGH LEGEND took command at once, made the pace to the final eighth under good rating and faltered slightly near the finish. BROKE, slow to begin and outrun to the stretch, finished fast oh the inside. BLOCK BUSTER moved up with a good bid entering the stretch, but failed to stay in the drive.
