Committee to Meet to Allot Stalls for Atlantic City Meet ATLANTIC CITY, N. J., June 18. The stall committee of the Atlantic City Racing Association is holding its meeting to allot stalls for the coming inaugural meeting July 22. Applications for more than 3000 stalls have been received. There are 800 to 850 stalls to be assigned. Many stables will be required to van racers to the new seashore course from Garden State Park and other places outside the grounds. The association has set aside a receiving barn where horses shipped here for the 13 rich stakes will be kept. Racing secretary Charles McClennan said that stall reservations will be sent out shortly and warned horsemen not to ship horses here at any time unless their applications have been approved. Atlantic City will add considerably to the number of barns next season and tentative plans call for accommodations for about 1,250 horses eventually.
