Young Reelected Guild Head; Name Three Regional Officers JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., June 18. At the annual meeting of the board of directors of the Jockeys Guild, held at the Hotel Whitman here last night, Sterling Young was reelected president. Instead of three general vice-presidents, three regional ones were elected. They are Wayne D. Wright, eastern section; Fred A. Smith, central section, and Lester Balaski, western section. Porter Roberts was reelected treasurer. Legal action was taken at the meeting to change the name of the organization from the Jockeys Community Fund and Guild to the Jockeys Guild. The number of directors was increased from 15 to 19. A total of 383 ballots out of a total membership of approximately 480 were cast in the election of directors.
