Vincent Stott, trainer for J. B. Tingley, owner of Infinite Maid, filed a protest against the horse Wadedale, owned by the Rose-Mar Stable, winner of the fifth race at Dufferin Park on Thursday, June 20, 1946, on the grounds that the horse was not eligible under the conditions of the race, inasmuch as Wadedale had won two races since May 17, 1946.
