MAELINE broke alertly, was content to remain behind the pace under light restraint, then rallied under pressure to wear down ROCKWOOD DAISY in the final stride. The latter was sent up on the inside to wrest the lead from LADY -BOSWELL after a quarter mile, was steadied along while saving ground and held on tenaciously to the end. BUCKLE UP, forwardly placed, responded to stout urging to get up in time to dead-heat FREEBOY for third. The latter closed fast with a belated rush on the extreme outside. HIGHLAND MISS rallied mildly in the final quarter, then flattened out. LADY BOSWELL tired after showing early speed. ROUGH ALLY showed nothing. KABO LEA was unable to keep up. FLAMING HIGH, much the best, opened a long lead in the first quarter, was allowed to go very wide entering the stretch and won with speed in reserve. DAIRY LADY dropped back after the first quarter, then responded to stout handling to come through on the inside and closed willingly. MISSMENOW, in closest attendance of the leader, saved ground, then weakened slightly in the late stages. PATTY KNOT was forwardly placed and had no mishap. CHARTER MEMBER dropped out of contention early, then made a mild rally in the late stages. PHANATAM loomed as a threat entering the stretch, then flattened out. BAD COLD was unable to keep up. RESPIRE, kept close to the pace on the outside, responded to stout handling nearing the furlong pole, caught the leaders and was drawing away at the end. BRIGHT SIGNAL broke alertly, was under light urging to maintain a clear lead, turned back the bid of OGHAM, but was unable to match strides with the winner. OGHAM was going well under light restraint while close to the leader and rallied mildly in the stretch, then faltered. HYHUSTLE had no mishap. WEATHERITE was close enough to the pace, but failed to respond to pressure. FOX MASTER closed fast through the stretch. COPYWRIGHT raced evenly. SOLLURE showed nothing. SICKLE SUN was taken up sharply on the far turn and never recovered. JAYLCEE was outrun. The flatter wrested the lead from SUPER FOOT after a quarter, saved ground and he d on gamely to the end. SUPER FOOT was sent to the front soon after the beginning, was taken in hand when displaced and rallied mildly under intermittent pressure. VALDINA CRAFT lost ground entering the stretch then closed fast on the outside. TWO TEN was running fastest at the end. BRILLIANT FLY broke fast came over on WISE ADVICE, then moved up to the leaders, only to weaken in the final sixteenth. ELLEN MIST showed good speed for a half mile. WHAT A PLAY raced evenly. PROGNOSIS began moving up after a half mile disposed of FORE AND AFT leaving the quarter pole, only to falter in the final seventy yards. INCITELLE remained closest to the leader early, saved ground on the final turn and was coming fast when bothered slightly nearing the sixteenth pole. LANDN SEA was unable to better position on the outside under steady urging FORE AND AFT was allowed to open a long lead under light restraint, then weakened after seven furlongs and was not persevered with in the final sixteenth. HALBARAIL, taken back off the pace after gaining a favorable position rounding the first turn, was in hand for six furlongs, then was sent up fast on the outside, assumed command entering the stretch, drew out and won with speed in reserve. GOTHIC, allowed to settle into best stride while outrun, closed fast on the extreme outside under intermittent pressure UNKNOWN REWARD made a weak bid in the final furlong after being outrun. DECISION was hustled early to remain with the pace, dropped back on the far turn, then came again under stout handling.
