Suspend Valet Byron Ray FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., June 21. The stewards of the Fairmount Park Jockey Club made their fifth ruling of the current spring meeting. The paper released today follows: "For conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing and causing a disturbance in the jockeys quarters, valet Byron Ray is hereby suspended for the balance of the meeting, and it is recommended to the Illinois Racing Board that his license be revoked."
