Won driving; second and third the same. EVER STAR, a stout contender from the beginning and on the outside, circled the leaders on the stretch turn, disposed of MARCAP in the drive and was drawing out at the end. MARCAP had speed to take command at the half-mile marker on the inside, saved ground, gave way to the winner, but held on well. SAMBO, prominent from the start, finished gamely, but was unable to threaten the first two. MR. X lacked early speed and closed with a rush. TIN LOON raced evenly. RED HORIZON could not keep up. MINEOLA MISS was unhurried when AMBER GLOW opened up a long lead, responded well when called upon in the stretch, took command drew out under mild handling. PLUCKY BELL, always in a contending position on the outside, finished stoutly, but was I not match for the winner. MISS BUSYBEE, far back early, improved her position steadily, went between horses for the drive and closed well. HALF LIT raced forwardly and evenly and hung on well. AMBER GLOW was hustled into a long lead, was made too much use of and had nothing left STAR O EAST was unable to engage the leaders. MISS SIPPI fell back steadily. Scratched 98863 Lucky Flicker, 112. PAT FULLER, crowded back when racing between horses early, was taken to the outside on the turn, responded to hard urging and was up in the final few yards. TROOP TRAIN, in a contending position early, moved up between horses on the turn, made a stout bid in the stretch and finished well. PUFFED UP moved up stoutly on the outside to take a short lead on the turn, drew clear and continued Willingly. BETTY GRABLE, with the leaders from the start, gave way under pressure at the end. GHOST HUNT, away slowly, closed some ground. BRACE PLAY had good early speed, but flattened out. AUNT LUCY could not keep up. BESSIE VANCE showed early speed.
