Wolfes Herbie G., a candidate for the 5,000 added Mavwer Stakes, six-furlong event which will feature the closing-day card here July 6, was on the track this morning for a workout. The bay son of Pairbypair Virginia Scout stepped off the six furlongs in 1:14 over a racing strip which was fact, but considered several points below its best.
