License of Vincent Cicero, Jr. Revoked by State Commissioner FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., June 21. William J. Dowling, Racing Commissioner for the state of Michigan today issued the following ruling: "June 21, 1946. "On the recommendation of the steward representing the Michigan State Racing Commission and the stewards of the Detroit Racing Association, the trainer license of Vincent Cicero, Jr., has been revoked. Signed "Wm. J. Dowling, Racing Commissioner." The commission ruling follows the recommendation of the stewards to suspend Cicero when the state chemist reported that the urinalysis of the horse Gypster, winner of the sixth race June 12, showed positive reaction to benzedrine. Cicero was suspended in Florida on a similar charge during the winter and Gypster was the same horse involved there.
