On Trust Is Clocked Six Furlongs in 7:75% CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., April 30. — On Trust, winner of the 00,000 Santa Anita Derby, worked six furlongs in 1:15% between races today in his last hard drill in preparation for Saturdays Derby. With the former rider, Clyde Turk, in the saddle and over a track drying out and listed as good, On Trust broke at the three-quarters pole with the following fractions :12, :23%, :36, 49, 102% and was urged a bit toward the end in 1:15%. He galloped out seven furlongs. Inasmuch as On Trust is not regarded as a "work horse," the trial was considered satisfactory by his connections. Preston Burch, trainer of Liberty Road and Master Mind, the probable Brookmeade entry in the Derby, changed his mind about working his charge at the same time. He has postponed their drills until tomorrow morning.
